Nigeria: Fuel Subsidy Trial - Ahmadu Ali's Son, Others for Trial Nov 12

Lagos — A Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja has fixed November 12, 2012 for the trial of Mamman Ali, the son of the former national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ahmadu Ali, standing trial alongside others over alleged stealing of fuel subsidy funds.

Mamman alongside Nasaman Oil and Christian Taylor, a Sierra Leonean, are being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged conspiracy, obtaining money under false pretence and forgery of documents.
