TANZANIA expects to attain average water availability targets of between 90 and 100 per cent in major regional urban centres throughout the country by December 2014, but has doubts of meeting the 65 per cent targets for rural areas.
The Minister for Water, Prof Jumanne Maghembe said while opening the 7th Joint Water Sector Review (JWSR) two-day workshop that, urban water authorities had made important milestones in the five years of the water sector development programme.
