Angola/Congo-Brazzaville: Nation Change Opponent and Face Congo in Portugal

Luanda — The national football team missed the match against Burkina Faso, initially scheduled for 14 or 15 November in Portugal, but confirmed this Thursday the friendly match against Congo Brazzaville on the same date and venue, ahead of their preparation of African Cup of Nations (AFCON2013), to be held in South Africa.

This was confirmed by the vice president of the Angolan Soccer Federation, João Lusevikueno, saying that Angola reacted quickly to change from the opponents.

The country realised that Burkina Faso has scheduled for FIFA date (14/15 November) the match with the DR Congo.

He explained that the game will take place in Estoril (Portugal), but is only missing to set the day (between 14 and 15).

Angola is integrated in group A together with South Africa, Morocco and Cape Verde.
