Egypt: Unfair Campaign to Hinder Islamic-Identity Constitution - Brotherhood

A Muslim Brotherhood statement has criticized what it called an unfair campaign attempting to hinder Egypt's Islamic identity and trying to halt the process of finalizing the constitution which, according to the Brotherhood, will realise the country's Islamic identity.

The constitution will "create stability" in Egypt and hindering its drafting and finalization will "obstruct the process of democratic transformation and the development process," the statement, published on the Facebook page of the Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party, said.
