President Mohamed Mursi warned on Friday against hindering Egypt's march and said he will not allow it.
"There will be no place for whoever attempts to tamper with or obstruct the nation's march," Mursi stated after he performed the Friday noon prayer at Omar Makram mosque in Assiut.
Mursi praised the sermon conducted by the mosque's imam, adding that everyone needs to remember the sayings of Prophet Mohammad.
We need to understand the lessons, learn from history, comprehend the value of justice and communicate with each other in order to become one body, Mursi said.
The president who performs the Friday prayers in a different government every week concluded his short speech by blessing the citizens of Assiut.
