Western Sahara: President of Republic Congratulates His Algerian Counterpart On Occasion of 58th Anniversary of 1st November

Bir Lahlu — President of the Republic, SG of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz, sent a message of congratulations to his Algerian counterpart Abdelaziz Bouteflika on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the Revolution November 1st.

"It is a great pleasure to express, on behalf of the people and the Government of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic and through you to all the Algerian people, my best wishes and warmest congratulations on the occasion of the celebration of the 58th anniversary of the outbreak of the revolution the first of November 1954, "wrote the President in a letter to his Algerian counterpart.

"The Saharawi people like all revolutionary peoples, celebrating this timeless anniversary and honors the souls of the martyrs Algerian martyrs of freedom and dignity," he added.

The President expressed his pride and gratitude to the firm position of Algeria alongside the legitimate struggle of the Saharawi people for self-determination and independence in accordance with the principles and Charter and UN resolutions, ".
