Egypt's ambassador in Tunisia said on Thursday 01/11/2012 the first leg of the African Champions League final between Egypt's record six-time African champions Al-Ahly and Tunisian giants Esperance will reflect the good and deeply-rooted relations between the two countries.
Ambassador Ayman Meshrafa said the embassy finalized all organizational procedures as well as travel papers for all Tunisians willing to come to Egypt to watch the match, to take place at Borg al-Arab Stadium on Sunday.
Till Wednesday, 500 visas were granted to Tunisians to attend the match, the ambassador said, expecting it to rise to 700 within coming two days.
Ahly has booked a ticket to the finals of the Orange CAF Africa Champions League after defeating Sunshine Stars of Nigeria with a solitary goal.
The return leg of the final will also take place in November. The winner of the final will qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2012, which takes place in December.
