Kenya: 2012 U.S. Election Program At U.S. Ambassador's Residence November 7

United States Chargé d'Affaires Robert F. Godec will host a Post-Election Program at his residence to monitor the results of the U.S. Elections beginning from 5:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, November 7.

All media are welcome to cover the event, which will include television and computer transmissions of the tallies as they come in from the 50 U.S. states. All media should have photo ID and media credential to gain access to the event.

For Live Coverage, including interviews with the Ambassador and guests, including high school and university students, to supplement international TV coverage, media houses will need to advise the Press Section of the Embassy of their intentions by close of business on Monday, November 5.

The Press Section will need the following information for Live Coverage: Names of all personnel; list of equipment to be used for direct transmission to studios; make, model, vehicle registration number, and color of all vehicles needed for direct transmissions; proposed arrival time of the vehicles.

Site: Residence of the U.S. Ambassador, 93 Muthaiga Road, Muthaiga.

Time: From 5:00 a.m. November 7. Must have photo ID and media credential.
