Western Sahara: President of Republic Oversees Closing of Artifariti 2012

Chahid Al Hafed — The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Frente POLISARIO, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, oversaw Saturday closing of work of the 6th edition of the International Encounter of Arts and Human Rights in Western Sahara.

The President Mohamed Abdelaziz organized at headquarters of SADR Presidency an official reception on honour of the artists participating at ARTifariti 2012.

During the reception ceremony, the President commended the work done by the artists, from 15 countries, who gathered at this art encounter, recalling to the difficult situation in which the Saharawis live in parallel with Ross visit to the occupied Saharawi territories.

The 6th edition of ARTifariti has been celebrated in the Saharawi Refugee Camps from October 20th to November 3rd, with the participation of more than 100 artists and students from 15 countries worldwide.
