A round of 16 Nawettan league match between defending champions TK Snookers and Culture Saturday at the Serrekunda East Mini-Stadium turned violent after the final whistle, with Culture having won the game 1-0.
The result would have sent Culture to the last eight of the Nawettan at the expense of TK who are also known as 'Hands on Africa'. Signs of tension were always there especially when aTK player called 'Sir' got involved in an exchange of words with the Culture fans who were leaning on the perimeter fence in the second half.
