Morocco: Brutal Intervention On Peaceful Demonstrations in Occupied Smara

Smara — Moroccan repressive forces brutally dispersed Saturday evening peaceful demonstrations in the occupied city of Smara calling for self-determination and independence of Western Sahara, leaving over 10 injured, according to a source from the Ministry of Occupied Territories and Communities Abroad.

The demonstrators raised flags of the Saharawi Republic and chanted slogans calling for self-determination and independence of Western Sahara.

According to the source, they were barbarically attacked by Moroccan forces of repression leaving several severe injuries including the case of Said Hayan, Fadala Banahi, Jawda Al-Ouali, Ali Belkhair, Al-Ouali Banahi Dahi, Said Mohamed Hmadnah, Hjeiba Banahi and Bouha Tagaiwa.

Moroccan forces also raided some house including that of the family Ahal Banahi.

Moroccan forces therefore carried out similar attack on the Saharawi citizens who gathered outside the hospital, leaving some injured.
