Nigeria's integrated energy solutions provider, Oando Plc, and fast-growing Nigerian independent, Seplat Petroleum Development Company are the leading players in the quest by indigenous companies to acquire the Nigerian assets of United States oil major, ConocoPhilips.

Also in the race is a consortium formed by Transcorp Plc and the Midwestern Oil and Gas.
