Namibia: Drugs, Weapons Netted By Police Patrols

THE City Police and the Namibian Police were out in full force over the weekend, patrolling the streets of Windhoek and the surrounding areas to prevent crime.

Just after 20h00 on Friday night the City Police received a call about a man who was lying in Smit Street in Pionierspark after he was attacked and robbed by two men. The man was walking in a riverbed when he was attacked, severely beaten and robbed of his cellphone and wallet.
