Morocco: Far Rabat Lead Botola

Rabat — ES Setif are tied with USM El Harrach atop the Algerian football table while FAR Rabat captured the lead in Moroccan football.

KAC Kénitra drew 1-1 against guests Moghreb Tétouan Sunday (November 4th) in round 6 of the Moroccan football premier league.

MAT scored first through Mehdi Namli in the 14th minute and Bilal Biat levelled the score for the hosts in the 67th minute from the spot. With this result, Moghreb Tétouan climbed to the 7th place and KAC Kénitra climbed to the 11th place.

FAR Rabat took the league lead on November 2nd with 14 points after beating newly-promoted Raja Béni Mellal (RBM) 1-0. The match's only goal was scored by the capital team's star Youssef Keddoui in the 69th minute from the spot.

Meanwhile, Raja Casablanca maintained their second place position with 13 points after drawing 2-2 against guests OC Safi. Striker Abderrazak Hamad Allah scored the first goal for OCS in the 23rd minute, and his teammate Mohamed Oulhaj added the second in the 79th minute, while Yassine Salhi scored Raja's first goal in the 84th minute from the spot and his teammate Mohcen Metoualli levelled the score also from the spot. With this result, OC Safi maintained their 3rd place standing.

Meanwhile, Wydad Casablanca climbed to 6th place after beating their newly-promoted hosts RSB Berkane 1-0. The match's only goal was scored by Lys Mouithys in the 11th minute.

HUSA Agadir climbed to fourth place after a barren draw against Wydad Fès.

Meanwhile, Moghreb Fès beat their hosts Difaa El Jadida 2-1. The hosts' only goal was scored by Zakaria Handouf in the 46th minute, while Samir Malcuit scored Moghreb Fès' first goal in the 76th minute, and his teammate Luiz Jefferson scored the second goal in the 79th minute from the spot.

In other matches for the same round, FUS Rabat drew nil against Olympique Khouribga and Chabab Rif al-Hoceima beat CODM Meknes 2-1.

Meanwhile in Algeria's Ligue 1, ES Setif share the standings' top spot together with USM El Harrach after both squads posted their sixth win of the season.

USMH topped JS Saoura 2-1 in their Day 9 matchup while ES Setif racked up a 2-0 victory over USM Bel Abbes.

In other Algerian football action, USM Alger crushed last place WA Tlemcen 4-0. Meanwhile third place MC Alger drew 2-2 with MC Oran while fourth place squad JSM Bejaia defeated CA Bordj Bou Arreridj 1-0.

MC El Eulma, JS Kabylie, CS Constantine and CR Belouizdad are all tied up in fifth with 13 points apiece.
