American soul singer, songwriter and record producer Dwele finally made it up to his fans on Sunday after previously cancelling his scheduled Africa debut at the September edition of Blankets and Wine.
The multiple Grammy nominee, who not only boasts of having recorded more than a hundred songs but also working with hip hop sensations Kanye West, Common and Raheem Devaughn, thrilled guests with some amazing performances from some of his old and new hits.
When he took on stage, Dwele started praising the Kenyan food, hospitality and left the women in awe when he described them as 'the most beautiful'.
Dwele, who has been in the country since Wednesday last week, is rumoured to have recorded a collabo with Aaron Rimbui's band and the Blankets and Wine CEO Muthoni Ndonga. Other performers were Kidum, Tanzania-based Mzungu Kichaa and Kenya's Kagwe Mungai.
The organisers of the monthly event made sure that not even the rain stopped their fans from having fun by setting up a dome and tents to shelter them from the rain.
