Angola: Caála Tourist Zones, Monuments and Sites Upgraded

Caála — The touristic sites and historic monuments of Caála municipality, Huambo province, will be upgraded from 2013, under the programme of social and economic development of the Executive, says the head of the sector of economic affairs, Henrique Silvério.

He said that the programme of the Executive aims at improving the architectural vision of the city and make profitable the touristics zones and historic monuments as in the developed countries, using local resources as well as divulge them.

The source also said that were classified 25 touristic sites and historic monuments, that show the cultural, political, economic and artistic dimension of the province.

Among them are Nganda La Cawe stone, Huambo Kalunga tomb, the fortress of Chingolo Kingdom, Bangela mountain, Our Lady of Monte Chapel, among others.
