Nigeria: Give Him the Armstrong Treatment

Many Nigerians are still trying to digest the import of what happened at the State House in Abuja last Friday during the submission of reports of three petroleum industry task forces to President Goodluck Jonathan.

Two of the task forces, headed by Dr Kalu Idika Kalu and Mr Dotun Sulaiman, successfully presented their reports to Jonathan through Petroleum Resources Minister Diezani Allison-Madueke. Chairman of the third one, former EFCC chairman Nuhu Ribadu then began to present the report of the Petroleum Revenue Special Task Force to the president. He highlighted the key points in the report and as he was rounding up, committee vice chairman Mr. Steve Oronsaye raised his hand.
