Gambia: NGOs' Performance Standards Synergy Underway

A two-week Non-Governmental Organisation training workshop on performance standards, quality assurance, learning events, performance assessments and staff development, Tuesday kicked-off at the conference hall of The Association of Non-Governmental Organisations (TANGO) in Fajara.

Bankrolled by the Japanese Social Development Fund (JSDF) and administrated through the World Bank, the training is part of a one-year project that TANGO is currently implementing in enhancing efficiency and accountability of NGOs. The project is designed to strengthen programme design, management and implementation and improve service delivery in the fight against poverty.
