Egypt: Antiquities Minister Stresses Archaeological Sites Safety

Archaeological sites in Luxor are safe and have not been affected by the heavy rains in the Upper Egyptian city since yesterday, Minister of Antiquities Mohamed Ibrahim said on Tuesday 6/11/2012.

He underlined that his ministry has taken preventive measures to protect the monuments from an angry mother nature.

Ibrahim directed archaeologists to be present at the sites to cope with any developments.
