Ndalatando — The Angolan singers Pai Banana and Pai Maçã were arrested on Tuesday in Ndalatando city, northern Kwanza Norte province, accused of possession and use marijuana.

Speaking to Angop, the spokesman of the provincial police command, intendent Gaspar José said that the artists caught consuming marijuana in the toilet of the train that was leaving for Malanje province, where they would hold a show.

Angop learnt that the musicians confirmed that they have been consuming marijuana for more than two years.
