The meeting touched on the OIC interest in women issues in the Islamic World and its decision to set up an independent human rights organization.

This addresses a clear-cut message to the whole world that Islam is keen to consolidate the rights and freedoms of individuals.

During the meeting, Oglu explained the OIC efforts to stop violence against Muslim minority in Myanmar.

The OIC also continues efforts with the UN Secretary General in this regard, Oglu concluded.
