Angola: Electrical Discharges Claim Four Lives

Saurimo — Fire and civil protection department in Lunda-Sul recorded over the last seven days, four deaths by electric discharge and a fire, in Saurimo city, Angop has learnt.

The corporation's spokesman, Xavier Maquenga, said the electric discharges took place in Txizainga ward, hitting two residences and killing three people, being two of the same family.

The rains also destroyed five residences and a chapel, belonging to the Catholic Church, in Saquembwe wArd, 10 kilometres off the headquarter of the Municipality.
