Angola: National Students in Portugal Claim for Subsidies

Luanda — One of the goals of the Association of Angolan Students in Portugal (AEA-Portugal) is to guarantee a dole for the payment of fees by its associates and other cadres student there, Angop has learnt.

This was announced by the Aea-Portugal's Vice chairman, Gil Costa, when speaking on the projects of the association, adding that the association wants a scholarship that includes at least the fees.

For the achievement of this project, the association has been holding talks with various national entities, such as the National Institute of Scholarship (Inabe) and the Ministry of Higher Education to solve the situation.

"We do not want a complete scholarship, but a subsidy to pay the fees, as many students have already an accommodation and food a clothes situation solved. The students only need the payment of their fees at universities and other teaching institutions", he said.
