Somalia: Somali President Congratulates Barrack Obama On His Re-Election

Mogadishu — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Wednesday congratulated U. S. President Barrack Obama on his re-election in the U.S presidential elections as the President of the United States of America for a second term in office.

"In my own name and on behalf of the Somali Government and people, I am pleased to offer my warmest congratulations to you on your re-election and wish you every success for your second term in office", president Hassan Sheikh said.

The Somali president also extended heartfelt felicitations to the people of the United States through President Barack Obama.

In his message, the president of the Federal Republic of Somalia said, "United States of America is a key strategic partner of the Federal Republic of Somalia and we look forward to continuing the close cooperation established over the years and further strengthening our bilateral ties"

"As your leadership is vital to meeting global challenges, I am sure you will continue to play a leading role in the global issues that are facing the world", he added.
