FINANCE Minister Alexander Chikwanda has announced plans to overhaul the malfunctioning Mulobezi railway line linking Southern to Western Province.
Mr Chikwanda said this in Parliament on Tuesday night when concerns were raised on the state of the railway link, established between 1905 and 1930 but was currently riddled with operational hurdles.
"As we are reorganising operations of the Zambia Railways Limited, in the same way we are going to find a solution for the Mulobezi Railway," he said.
