Mogadishu — Thousands of demonstrators, including women and children on Thursday took to the streets in the capital, to show their full support and satisfaction with the newly designated leaner cabinet ministers by the Somali Prime Minister Abdi Farah Shirdon on Sunday.

The rally happened on Monday in Mogadishu's Mogadishu's Stadium Conis in Abdiaziz district as crowds chanting slogans and carrying Somali PM's Posters gathered at a square in the district in support of the 10-member cabinet ministers proposed by Somali PM.

On Sunday, Somali PM named a 10-member Cabinet that includes Fozia Yusuf Haji Aden as the Horn of Africa country's first female foreign minister.
