Egypt: Morsi Agrees on Providing Premises for APU in Cairo

President Mohamed Morsi met on Wednesday 7/11/2012 with Arab Parliamentary Union (APU) at headquarter of the Presidency.

Morsi has agreed on providing premises for the inter- APU and on sponsoring the coming session of the APU which will be held in Cairo and which will witness a declaration on transferring APU into an official body.

This came during the President's meeting with the members of the Arab interim parliamentary bureau. The meeting was attended by Vice President Counselor Mahmoud Makki, Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed Fahmy, Presidential Aide for Foreign Relations and International Cooperation Essam al-Haddad and Head of the Shura Council's Arab, Foreign Affairs and National Security Reda Fahmy Mohamed Khalil.
