Angola: Peace Deemed As Starting Point for New Page of Nation's History - Kundi Paihama

Luanda — The peace, which was achieved in 2002, is considered to be the starting point of new page of the Angolan history.

This was said to Angop on Thursday in Luanda by the minister of Former Combatants and Motherland Veterans, Kundi Paihama, when addressing the theme "Angola 37 years of Independence" destined to the officers of the three branches of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA).

According to him, this peace came to show that agreement and peaceful socialization among Angolans brings about growth because the efforts of the nation stopped to be channelized to war that only caused pain, grief, destruction and late socio-economic development of the country.
