Angola: Electrical Discharge Kills One Citizen in Songo

Songo — A 40-year old citizen, named Malungo Paulo and born in the northern Uige province, died early on Wednesday in the village of Songo, as a result of an electrical discharge.

The discharge was due to the torrential rain that fell in the region.

Speaking to ANGOP, the son of the victim, Segundo Ernesto explained that two other relative were also wounded (wife and daughter of the victim) who were present at the time.

According to him, this phenomenon has been steady in the village of Songo, taking into account the strong winds and rains accompanied by hailstones that fall steadily in the region.
