Angola: National Assembly Denies Acquisition of Jaguar

Luanda — The National Assembly considered this Thursday rumours of what some media organs have been reporting that this parliament organ acquired or intends to buy cars of Jaguar trademark for protocol use of MPs.

The official denial was made by the spokeswoman of the parliament, Emilia Carlota Dias, in statement addressed to the press.

She stressed that the National Assembly was not happy with this information, which has been staining the good name and prestige of this parliament body.

"So the truth of the facts is that the National Assembly never acquired nor will acquire these vehicles", she said.
