Luanda — The head for co-ordination of the metrology centre of Angola, Rui Coto, said Thursday in Luanda that the existence of the institution in the country is an added value for the world, which will enable the control of some products in the country and their export.
The official said so under the holding of the workshop on Metrology and training in the context of the Angolan Growth, promoted by the integrated centre of technology (Cinfotec).
He said that in previous time it was not given many importance to the metrology services in Angola, but currently the calibration has increased and it is time to the sector has been seen as an opportunity.
"There are many firms in Angola and many of them or almost all of them need the metrology services", he said.
