Tunisia: Invitation Extended to Egyptian President to Attend Festivities of Second Anniversary of Revolution

Carthage — Success of democratic transition in Egypt and Tunisia is a priority that requires exchange of expertise and experiences between the two countries to take up the current challenges, Egyptian President's aide in charge of democratic transition Samir Morcos asserted on Thursday.

During his meeting with President Moncef Marzouki, Mr. Morcos pointed out that "the revolutionary race for democratic transition in both countries will undoubtedly enrich their bilateral relations in the economic, social and cultural fields."

President Marzouki extended to Egypt's President Mohamed Morsi an invitation to attend festivities marking celebration of the second anniversary of the Tunisian Revolution, a communiqué of the Presidency of the Republic reads.
