Nigeria: What Obama's Re-Election Means for Nigeria, By Adefuye

Nigeria's Ambassador to United States, Prof. Adebowale Adefuye, has said that the re-election of US President Barack Obama would further strengthen relations between the two countries.

In a chat with THISDAY on Thursday, Adefuye said, "Obama's re-election will impact very positively on Nigeria's relations with the United States. I expect to see a strengthening of our bilateral relations".

Citing as example the Nigeria-US Binational Commission, which is the framework for relations between both countries, Adefuye said the implementation of the commission's agreement signed two years ago had been very successful.
