The award winning South African actor and director, Sello Maake Ka-Ncube will be in Windhoek on November 23 this year, to conduct a day workshop of local actors and lovers.
Sello is also invited by the National Theatre of Namibia (NTN) to be a guest speaker at the fourth Bi-annual Theatre and Film award on November 24.
Many Namibians may know him Archie Moroka for his role in the South African soapie, Generations, and most recently as Daniel Nyathi for the main role in another South African soapie, Scandal, playing currently daily from Monday to Thursday on the Namibian Broadcasting Co-operation (NBC), Scandal.
The workshop is aimed at providing actors with a theoretical and practical background on the Art of Drama and to prepare him/her for a career in acting.
Organisers says that this will be a platform and advantage to many local actors since Sello is one of the most esteemed actors and directors in South Africa who achieved many awards.
The workshop is made possible by the NTN in partnership with the Filmmakers Association of Namibia.
