Zimbabwe: Traverze Travel Gives Clients a Treat

Traverze Travel and Tours, a leading Zimbabwean travel management company recently hosted an early lavish Christmas party for its clients at a five star hotel in Harare. The exclusive dinner started around 8pm with arrival of guests at the premier Meikles Hotel Steward Room that spilled into the early hours of the following day.

It was a party and a half as guests were wined and dined courtesy of Traverze, a renowned travelling agent that makes travelling arrangements to a number of well-to-do corporate organisations.

Youthful singer Mudiwa Mtandwa pimped up the event with his perfomance where he played an array of party songs that included "Ndaita Mari" and "Chaputika ZvineStaera" which had everyone on the dance floor.

Dressed in designer blue faded jeans and matching red jacket, the flamboyant singer mesmerised the crowd with an amazing performance. As part of the line up was a jazz group called BlaQberry.

Unlike at a function where guest will drink what is readily available , this was a different story as guests had been sent a bar lists to chose from prepare in advance, to give them ample time to decided how they intended to treat their palates.

The menu that bar had the function's name thus Traverze included John Walker black label , Robertson Sweet Rose wine, Amarula, Tall House and J.C Leroux among others.

The event was purely African with guests dressed in traditional attire. The theme meant to showcase African pride and culture added colour to what was already an entertaining evening of pomp and fanfare. The theme also represented the diverse clients from different ethnic groups but are united by Traverze Travel as one family.

Among the distinguished guests who attended were Tourism Minister Mzembi and his wife, Prophetess Beverly Angel, the wife of Spirit Embassy founder Prophet Uebert Angel, Traverze board chairman, Canaan Dube and Godfrey Pasipanodya.

It also saw Harare's top socilalites, businessman and fashionistas Taka Mashonganyika, disc jockey Tichafa Matambanadzo popularly known as Tich Mataz who was the master of ceremony, Vanessa Sibanda and Tongai Kasukuwere exchange notes on a variety of issues.

Minister Mzembi who was the guest of honour commended the travel company for playing a key role in promoting Zimbabwe as a tourist destination. Traverze managing director, Zodwa Mutunzi, well known socialited thanked clients for their unwavering support.
