TENNIS Zimbabwe have geared up their preparations for the Futures event scheduled to take place between this month and next month with a launch set for next Thursday.
Zimbabwe was given the greenlight to host the event by the International Tennis Federation last month and it will run from November 23 to December 1.
TZ will co-host the tournament with South Africa, who are set to host two other legs of the event.
TZ administrator, Cliff Nhokwara, said everything is now in place and they are just waiting for the draw.
"We are supposed to have a launch on Thursday next week at Tennis Zimbabwe Centre at the Harare Sports Club.
"The entry deadline is on November 15, which is Thursday again.
"Most critical to the tournament is officiating, that's what ITF emphasises on and the officiating team is in place.
"We are getting officials from the Southern Region to complement our local officials.
"The ITF will send a supervisor and we have been given Ian Smith but it is still to be confirmed by ITF," said Nhokwara.
Veteran referee Shepherd Manyumbu and Stanley Rudhu will be part of the officiating team.
