Kenya: 'Evil Spirits' Torment Pupils in Mwatate

Fear has gripped a school in Mwatate constituency after several students were struck by bouts of fainting spells. The incident , which started a few weeks ago, has affected learning at Mwakinyungu Primary School in Msau location.

Parents believe the school is haunted by evil spirits as the student do not faint at home. Pastor Michael Mghanga said the number of students who have been fainting has been increasing.

"We suspect the devil has been sent to disrupt learning in the school. I have received calls from the school but I have not had time to visit the school for prayers," he said adding that he will soon visit the school to "cast away the evil spirits".
