Rwanda: Imbuto Pumps Rwf17 Million in 'Malaria V - Tourney'

Imbuto Foundation has pumped Rwf17m into Malaria Volleyball tournament which is scheduled to run from November 17 to December 15.

According to the Rwanda Volleyball Federation Technical Director Christian Hatumimana, the money will be used to organise both the men and women's competitions.

"We need more competitions in volleyball and it is good to have this one. We thank Imbuto for their contribution to volleyball, which will help the development of the sport across the country," said Hatumimana.

"We have a good budget for this year's competition which will help the teams. We hope it will be a very competitive tournament" he noted.

The tournament will be held in four districts namely; Bugesera, Nyanza and Ngoma and Gasabo.

Teams expected to take part in the tournament include APR, INATEK, UNR, Lycée de Nyanza, GSOB, EWSA, Karongi, KIE, and KVC in the men's category, the women's category will consist of APR, Ruhango, RRA, INATEK, Rwamagana, Star des Volcans Musanze, Rubavu, Muhanga and IPRC- Kicukiro respectively.
