Egypt: Interior Ministry Denies Issuing List of 7,000 Qaeda Elements in Sinai

The Interior Ministry denied Thursday 08/11/2012 media reports alleging that it delivered to President Mohamed Morsy a list of 7,000 Qaeda elements in Sinai.

In a statement, the Ministry's Spokesman said what was published by some newspapers in this regard was "totally bare of truth".

The ministry has issued a statement before calling on media to clearly identify the security source behind its information, the Spokesman said. The ministry has made clear the official channels from which one can get information about the ministry, he said.
