Tunisia Elected Member of ECOSOC

Tunis — Tunisia has been elected on Thursday as new member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council ECOSOC on the occasion of the 67th session of the UN General Assembly, held in New York.

Elected with 186 votes, Tunisia will seat in this council for a 3-year-mandate starting January 1, 2013.
