Angola: U.S Senator Hails Growth of Angola

Houston — The US Senator for Texas, Rodney Ellis, expressed on Wednesday satisfaction in Houston at the deeds of the Angolan government for the socio-economic growth of the country.

The Senator said so on Wednesday when speaking in a reception of the celebration of the 37th anniversary of the national independence, to be marked on 11 November, offered by the Angolan general consulate in Houston to the consular body accredited in that US city.

Rodney Ellis congratulated the country for the 37th anniversary and also expressed his pride at being friend of Angola and its people.

The event was attended by members of oil companies that operate in Angola, Angola/US chamber of commerce and diplomats, among others.
