Angola: Drought Victims Receive Several Goods

Dombe-Grande — The minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Afonso Pedro Canga, said on Thursday in Dombe-Grande commune that the it was availed 1.900 tones of several goods to support of drought victims in the central Benguela province.

According to Pedro Canga, the distribution of the referred goods, such as foodstuff, clothes and medicines, will be taken by the local authorities to benefit the most affected population by the calamities.

On the other hand, the official said that ministry will conduct in the coming days surveys and studies that aim for the regulation of rivers, for the development of waters and minimize the situations of droughts.
