Tunisia: Means to Develop Tunisian-Austrian Relations Looked At

Tunis — The Tunisian-Austrian relations and prospects for developing them were the focus of National Constituent Assembly (NCA) Speaker Mustapha Ben Jaafar's meeting, on Friday, with a delegation of Austrian trade unionists led by Mr. Alfred Gajdosik.

Mr. Ben Jaafar praised, on the occasion, the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT)'s active participation at all stages of the country's transition, notably with the organisation of the national dialogue on the constitution, which testifies to UGTT's will to reconcile points of view.

Mr. Gajdosik asserted his country's will to support Tunisia's efforts to make of the democratic transition a success, voicing satisfaction at the sense of consensus shown by the Tunisian society and the contribution of all components of civil society and national organisations-and UGTT on top of them all-to the construction of new Tunisia.
