Nigeria: AASDU Honours Obi, Others

Association of Anambra State Development Unions (AASDU) Lagos will today honour Senator Ben Obi and other distinguished Anambrarians who have impacted positively on the lives of the public.

The Chairman, Organising Committee of the group, Mr. Ben. Chukwukelu, disclosed that the award is part of this year's cultural day slated for today, at the National Stadium, Surulere.

He said that the year's award is categorized into three, namely; Career Excellence, Community Development Service and Business Development/Philanthropy awards symbolic to the activity of the awardees that attracted public commendation.

According to him, the dignitaries were chosen after thoroughly reviewing their past activities and in recognition of their characters as role models for the up growing generation.
