Zambia: Nkana Squash Club to Host Tourney

OVER 60 players are today expected to take part in the Muchachi Enterprises Bell-Nkana Invitation squash championship at Nkana Squash Club in Kitwe where club queen, Sharon Chimfwembe is expected among the notables.

With the squash calendar not so congested this season, the one-day tournament comes up at a perfect time to dust off the racquets and make it more useful in the championship which includes juniors.

Nkana Squash Club Captain Mwewa Kapata said yesterday that various prizes have been lined up for the various categories. Winners from today's event will progress to the knock out stage .

Kapata said that the Bell Invitation Tournament was a Traditional in-house competition that the club uses to assess the performance of its players but normally extends to other clubs around the Copperbelt.
