Egypt: Country to Take Part in Comesa Summit in Uganda

Egypt is to take part in the two-day COMESA summit to be held in Uganda on November 23.

Assistant Foreign Minister for African Affairs, Ambassador Mona Omar said the summit will be preceded by the 12thmeeting of COMESA foreign ministers on November 21 to prepare for the summit which is coinciding with the seventh round-table meeting of the first ladies of COMESA states.

The major topic to be tackled by the summit deals with means of consolidating trade among COMESA states through developing micro, small and medium projects in addition to technical issues on the COMESA summit agenda, Omar added.
