Kenya: Zawadi Africa Celebrates 10 Years of Giving

It takes a big heart to give back to the community. Dr Susan Mboya-Kidero, through her foundation Zawadi Africa, has been educating and empowering girls for the past 10 years.

To celebrate that achievement, the foundation hosted a cocktail party at the National Museums of Kenya in Nairobi on Thursday evening.

Friends, partners, donors and volunteers came through to support the foundation and interact with some of the beneficiaries of the programme which has placed students on full scholarships in some of the best universities in the world including Harvard, Yale, McGill, UCT among others.

The well attended event saw the Nairobi Chamber Choir give a brilliant performance.
