Huambo — The provincial director of Culture in the central Huambo province, Pedro Chissanga, on Friday stressed the construction and rehabilitation of cultural infrastructures, including the Bailundo cultural centre, as benefits of the sector in the 37 years of independence.
Speaking to ANGOP, the provincial director of culture in Huambo also stressed the implementation of new projects in order to guarantee comfort to culture agents.
According to the official, the agenda includes the construction of a regional museum, the rehabilitation of the Ombala Mbalundo area, contributing to the improvement of identification of culture in the region.
Pedro Chissanga also urged the population to preserve culture.
