Angola: Photo Exhibition in Honour of Independence Day

Huambo — A photography exhibition portraying the past and present of Huambo city was opened this Saturday by the art and culture foundation, in commemoration of the national independence day (November 11) and 100th founding anniversary of the city, September 21.

Dubbed "Huambo ontem e hoje (Huambo yesterday and today)", the event shall be open until December 10, with the aim of informing visitors about the past and current reality of this city.

The director of the culture and arts foundation, Yalee Azani, also informed that during the opening of the event that the event results from an amateur work carried out by children of three shelter homes who decided to take photos of the beautiful moments and places of this city.
