Angola: Governor Reaffirms Commitment to Strengthen Dialogue With Youths

Ndalatando — The governor of northern Kwanza Norte province, Henrique André Júnior, reaffirmed on Friday in Ndalatando the government's commitment to prioritise an ongoing dialogue with youths,

seeking an active participation of this age group of the society in the various tasks of reconstruction and continuous development of the province.

Speaking during a meeting with more than 400 young people from various social spheres of the province, promoted by the Provincial Youth Council, meant to listen to the problems of that age group, the official said that the institutionalisation of a space similar to the Council of Auscultation and Social Dialogue promoting anongoing dialogue with youths is one of the commitment of government.

The governor assured that his sector will also continue to give priority to the incorporation, in the provincial government, of youths who abide by honesty and selflessness in assignments that they are entrusted to them.

Henrique Júnior acknowledged and thanked the efforts of local youths and of the civil society, in general, for their hard work with the communities seeking the conscious participation of citizens in the electoral process.
